Lane Thomasson

Associate

Lane Thomasson joins the firm with extensive litigation experience having served as deputy district attorney for the 7th Judicial District and assistant county attorney for Montrose County. Lane has spent a majority of her career in local courtrooms focusing heavily on complex and contentious hearings and trials.

While serving Montrose County from December 2017 to May 2021, Lane gained extensive experience in land use, roads, constitutional law and representing the county in various types of civil proceedings. Lane now uses her extensive court room experience to advocate for her clients as a tenacious civil litigator.

Lane graduated from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law where she was a member of the school’s prestigious National Trial Team. She received her bachelors degree from Smith College and her masters from King’s College in London, UK.

When not in the office, you will likely find Lane backcountry skiing, mountain biking, or hiking with her partner, Rob, and their two dogs.
